Hello, I am Nicolas Kruger. I am 19 About to turn 20 in June of this year (2024) I was born in Las Vegas until the age of 12 where my family moved to Peru for 3 Years. In Peru I learned so much of their culture, how the people live there, and it became my home away from home. I enjoyed living there a lot, especially all the delicious food that I ate in those 3 years. I have to little sisters of the ages of 12 and 7 and an older brother who is 21. Since moving up here I miss them but I still call them and try my best stay in contact with them.
In the beginning of 2020 I moved back to Vegas during the entrance of Covid-19, which wasn’t the ideal time. I finished high-schools and then moved up to Reno for college. I finished my last two years of high school at Green Valley Christian School where I met a bunch of amazing people and friends. I was in extracurriculars such as basketball, track and field, and academic olympics. One of my favorite memories from my senior year is my senior trip to Washington D.C. It was such a beautiful place and I has so much fun with my classmates there. We got see to so many historical landmarks such as the U.S. Capitol building and the WWII memorial.
I met my girlfriend at the high school I went to before she moved up for college and now we are living together in our own apartment. We met during my first time participating in track and field and were both runners. The track meet went for so long, which I didn’t know how long track meets can be. At the end of the meet I waked her to her car and then I got McDonalds afterwards and she also got McDonalds and texted me about it. That how we met and then got together. I love her so much and am glad I am on this journey with her.
I am a full time student and full time employee who is attending School at the University of Reno, Nevada. I work at BestBuy currently as a Product Flow Specialist since august of 2023. I work in the warehouse in the mornings. I manage and operate everything that go through the warehouse for clients, consumers, and distribution centers. My job involves and lot of researching, inventory issues, fulfilling customers orders, and overseeing inbound and outbound shipments. I really love my job because of how difficult it can be to figure out complicated retail issues but also the people who I work with make the workplace environment feel amazing and very understanding.
I am currently in my pre-business degree and after I graduate pre-business I will major in Management and I haven’t decided if I also wanted to go for a minor as well. for the business I want to run. The business I want to own is a low-voltage contracting company. This was my new found passion which I hadn’t had one before then. I aspire to enjoy what I do and low-voltage is that. My interest in low-voltage came from a full-time job that I got in the summer of 2023 after I graduated high-school. My girlfriend’s dad owns a company called Audio Advantage LLC and he is the one who took me into this field. This introduced me to low-voltage and high-voltage work which intrigued me very much. The picture is from a Golden Knights game I went to with my Girlfriends family and it was also my first ever hockey game.
Some more of my Interest include playing video games, networking, reading, and socializing with friends. Some video games I like to play is League of legends, Risk or Rain 2, Hades, Minecraft, and many many others. I like meeting new people at work and at school. Knowing lots of people is awesome because everyone is different and is unique in their own way. Hearing peoples stories and life journey allows me to see the bigger picture. It also helps me make connections and open up different opportunities and experiences that can help later on in life. One Other big interest of mine is my amazing and cute cats.
